JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design and develop electrical systems for solar energy projects, including photovoltaic (PV) systems and associated components.

• Perform detailed electrical system calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance, efficiency, and reliability.

• Prepare electrical system specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for solar power projects.

• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical and economic factors to determine the viability and effectiveness of solar energy solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solar power systems with other project components.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest solar energy technologies, industry trends, and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into designs..

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Registered Electrical Engineer license is preferred but not mandatory.

• 1 year of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on solar energy projects.

• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, PSpice).

• Solid understanding of solar energy systems, PV system design principles, and associated components.

• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations specific to solar energy installations (e.g., NEC, IEC standards).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize system performance.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Project management experience in the solar energy industry is a plus.
